Was exactly what I expected. Haven’t used it yet, but have no reason to think it won’t work.

This worked but was kind of clumpy. Rustolium metallic gold paint is very runny and hard to work with. This did make it less so.

I am an artist that works with multiple mediums, and one of them is epoxy. I wanted a thickener to use in my epoxy to make 3D whipped cream and potions around the top of my epoxy tumblers. This worked brilliantly. The amount of thickener you use really varies depending on how thick you want the epoxy, and the amount of epoxy you are working with. For my smaller cup projects, this tub will last me quite a while, and I am loving the results. This thickener is the best value I have found for price, quantity, and efficacy.

I cant always get really flat paint for small touch-up latex samples. Matt samples are not perfectly flat paint and shine on pre-painted surfaces. The silica powder kills any sheen and makes the latex samples thicker for drip free applications on ceilings or walls. I mix the silica and latex in small tins and let sit for a minute or two before applying. I little goes a long way, use fractional teaspoons per ounce of paint.

I use this to thicken my last epoxy cast pour. I cast trout head with epoxy smooth on and I use this for last pour to thicken and strengthen it and it works great.

Works as it should when mixed with polyaspartic for filling concrete cracks.

Using fumed silica and chop fiberglass stran helps quiet abit to thicken epoxy.

The seal cover was opened on this product, yellowish and weird odor!!!

If you are looking for fumed silicate for the dry water science experiment this is not the correct kind and will not work. So glad we did a practice run before the birthday party.

This is the right silica to get to mix up your own rigidizer.
