This product is well made. I thought these would secure bird cage feeder doors about 5 tall but they dont have much of a springiness to them so they dont reach. I had never purchased hook latches before so lesson learned for the future, nbd. I used four stainless steel M3.5 screw chain links (theyre similar to the metal links that secure toys to cages) to meet the latch & I am happy w it. Maybe one day Ill purchase longer latches but I actually like their sturdy quality & firm spring construction (Im thinking maybe they wont wear out as quickly/loosen too much over time & use[?] but time will tell for sure). Overall, Im very pleased w these but if your feeder doors are about 5 in height these will not work w/o some modifications.

Easy to use, install is a bit tricky but stays where you put them. Very secure to keep cage closed. Doesnt bother rabbits and keeps predators at bay somewhat. Yes I recommend

We use an enclosed c&c cage for our Guinea pigs and the boys were able to pop their latch open and jump into the girls cage. So far we have 8 babies as a result. Bought these and now those boys are on lockdown! They worked just as I had hoped!

I cannot say enough about these cage latches!!! I raised extremely rare colors of quail and their safety is the utmost important to me!! Some of these birds are so rare that there may only be 40 in the nation. As an older woman, with arthritis in my fingers, these latches werent just easy to install but they are super easy to use while leaving the cage doors so secure that even a grown man cannot pull the doors open without unlatching them!! I WILL BE PURCHASING MORE OF THESE!!!!

These solved the issue of flimsy clips for the bottom of our travel bird cage. So easy to use and very sturdy.

These are simple closures that are very easy to install and are cat-proof. We use these on our 7.5x2 C&C enclosure for our piggies as an added layer of protection should our cat (who currently couldn’t care less about them) suddenly get curious. They’re easy to use, too, and aren’t fussy like some locks can be.
