Softness, quality, great packaging

Wonderfully soft and silky. Also clean (its important for me not to have vegetable matter in the wool). BUT it doesnt needle felt without A LOT OF WORK (and even then). I used different needles (straight, triangle, spiral) in different sizes and it basically drove me nuts because the darn wool wouldnt felt quickly. I have been needle felting for about a year and I know how good wool should felt. Perhaps this is ideal for someone spinning wool or using the roving to crochet on giant hooks - but DO NOT BUY for needle felting!

Using this to repair and Indian mandala wallhanging that is quite aged. Product looks perfect for my needs.

I found this hard to use for felting because of the long staple (90mm). However, I cant wait try it on my upright spinning wheel for the same reason. This is a beautiful, well priced product
