100 Packets 2 Gram Silica Gel Desiccant Pack Moisture Absorber Dehumidifier, Food Contact Safe

I purchased these in order to dehydrate cut flowers for a resin project. I put a few flower blooms along with two handfuls of packets (way more than I would realistically need) and put them in an airtight container. I expected that the packets would dehydrate the flowers. Unfortunately, the packets did not work and I opened the container a week later to find the flowers covered in mold. Unfortunately, the flowers were a beautiful specimen and I was sad to see them go. Instructions only stated packets would need to be microwaved after several uses, so I assumed that new packets would function optimally. Rated 2* instead of 1 as its nevertheless possible that I did something wrong.

I bought this product to keep some items I made dry. With summer coming (eventually) the humidity may damage the crafts I have made and I purchased this product. It also works very well with other items I need to keep dry.

Order them in case my phone gets moisture in it.

Just make sure you warm them to dry them out if you need them at peak performance. Ive been using these to dry out (keep dry) my 3D printer filament, and have to rotate them on/off a heated bed just to make sure they are working their best. They did arrive in vacuum sealed packaging, but with anything you buy online, it doesnt hurt to make sure theyre dry.

I live in a humid environment and get sweaty easily, so Ive been using these to keep sneakers drier in between outings. Does exactly what theyre supposed to. Tons of value for the money, as theyre reusable and I have plenty for other purposes, too.

I noticed my foil trading cards (yu-gi-oh, pokemon, magic, etc) were starting to curl due to humidity. I bought a pack of these and put a few of them in the box with my Trading cards and they helped out a lot with the humidity.

With the larger packets you use less of them to keep moisture away from things you want to protect. Perfect for using in a home safe.
