1/2 - 28 UNEF Right Hand Tap and Die Set with Round Die 22LR 223 5.56 9mm

I had to tap an old muzzle device I thought was a paper weight. But I ran the tap and it worked great and made the muzzle device usage able again. I cleaned and greased it but it on a rifle. It went on like it was new out of the box. I have not used the Die yet. I already had one.

Took USPS 2 tries to finally deliver but the tap and die are both good quality. They are not designed for commercial use but perfect for the home shop.

Works exactly like expected. I needed to clean out threads to a very precise measurement and this worked perfect. A nice addition to my set.

Well worth the price. Quality HSS, used on 416, 1045, 1018 round stock and still going strong.

im no machinest,didnt expect both sides 2 b tapered but ran it both ways,on stainless not sure what grade. but cut about a foot of thread n still as good as new

dont know what other peoples reviews mean when they say it doesnt work for a fire arm application,used it on a expensive muzzle brake that was 1/2x26 tapped it out with this tap, fits and tightens like ace ventura said LIKE A GLOVE lol
