I liked the product and reused it on smelly Slippers. When I tried to reactivate the coal it did did not work well. It reactivates in the sunlight and I live a rainy winter climate . Oops

I really didn’t notice any difference

I didnt expect much.. my feet sweat really bad and it makes my shoes smell terrible. I washed them with heavy detergent and sprayed them with some mint spray a few weeks ago. It knocked the heavy odor out but it was still there and when I wore them it quickly came back. These things came and I tossed them in the sun for 2 hours while it was setting. I put them in my shoes and the next morning smelled some of my less stinky ones... nothing. I thought to myself no way.. picked up some of the work shoes that I was about to throw away (140$ brooks).... NOTHING! No odor at all. In 10 hours and not even sitting them in the sun for recommended time. Im blown away. I was about to throw away 600$ worth of shoes and buy more because they smelled so bad. I had been using some mint mist spray last several months that helped but didnt solve it. These things are unreal!

I put a couple of this product in the car to replace the air freshener. It works great!

Earlier in the year I got a treadmill to start getting back into shape. I have a pair of running shoes set aside specifically for use on the treadmill. I started noticing a slight smell from the shoes around May. I figured being worn 4 or 5 times a week, maybe I needed to get a second pair to rotate between use to let them thoroughly dry. In June, I started noticing a smell in the shoes again, so started looking into ways to keep the smell at bay and ensure they were free of any fungus that could cause problems with my feet. This was especially important as im now running 5 miles every day on the treadmill. I saw these bamboo charcoal bags rated highly, so I decided to give them a try. They arrived quickly through amazon prime. Following the instructions included, I left the individual bags in the sun for a few hours to activate the charcoal. I then place a pair in each of my shoes. After just a few days, I noticed the shoes had no smell at all. Seriously, no smell, I put them right up to my face and nothing. It has been over a month now they still work great. The instructions indicate to put the bags back in the sun for a few hours once a month to refresh the charcoal. Ive done that once so far and no issues or smells to comment on. They seem to be working great. The package had a bunch of them included, so i gave some to my wife to put in her shoes as well. Im very happy with the outcome of this product and highly recommend them.

We tried these for a pair of new shoes we bought on marketplace, but they had a strong cigarette smell to them. We were hoping they would work on the shoes, and after a few attempts, there was barely any improvement. I’m not that upset as this was an attempt to help. However, would not recommend.

I got a new pair of tennis shoes about 5 months ago and I dont know why, but OMG, the smell was horrible. Id wear them for two hours and when I would take them off, my feet smelled like decomp. Just horrible. My dog would smell my foot and then sneeze. Someone recommended this product to me and within 2 days of use, no more smelling like the city morgue. I use them daily in about four pairs of shoes. I highly recommend this product. The directions are correct - recharging them once a month in the sun for about an hour really does work.

Use for cars as I drive a lot after sweety practice & dont wanna have residual odor. Also use in boxing gloves bc Im a fan of scented wipes but neutral deodorizers.

Ive used similar products to these but never for my shoes and wow these things are wonderful. There is no scent.. thats a good thing, I dont want my feet smelling like flowers .. no thanks. Super easy to use, just place in window when not using to recharge and place one in each shoe to get rid of the stink... PERFECT. Do I recommend? YES
