I can’t tell why by looking at them, but these immediately caused suction error on my Roomba. The day that I installed the first one, my vac gave error 26 (lose of suction). I’d check it, restart it, and it would only make it another three minutes before another error. This went on and on. I took the whole vac apart before I realized that what had changed was the brand of filter. Went back to using name brand filters and the problem stopped. I wish it weren’t so because this price is great but it’s not worth it if they don’t work.

Its an ok filter, however (1) It does restrict the air flow which means less suction power. (2) As others have said, the seal around the filter is poor and allows dust to pass the filter. I dont know if this can damage the vacuum engine. If you bought one, look at the screen next to the vacuum fan, if it looks dirty then the filter is not well sealed.

These absolutely do not work with the J7+!!! The filters fit, but every time Roomba tries to empty itself at the base station, it fails, tries a few more times, then gives an error and red ring. The problem started right after putting this filter in so I know its the culprit. The seller updated the listing after I bought them to say its not compatible. But its too late for me to return them. Shame on them!

For as small as they are, they do a good job filtering out the fine dust.

These filters are after market but work like the real name brand. They fit just right as well. Ill be purchasing these for as long as I own my Roomba.
