1/4 Inch 6x12 Aluminum Sheet 6061-T6 Aluminum Tooling Flat Sheet Plate Bar Mill Stock

Solid piece of aluminum. The size is about 1/8 shorter than advertised. Used it to mount my reloading press to my bench. Perfecto!

The quality of the metal was great. It also came very accurately cut to size.

Not actually 12” x6”. Off by 1/8” in both dimensions.

I ordered 1/4 Inch 6x12 Aluminum Sheet 6061-T6 Aluminum Tooling Flat Sheet Plate Bar Mill Stock KAYLAN. Everything I hoped for. Good quality. Flat. Well machined. Even came with a protective skin.

Although 1/4 plate aluminum isnt a high volume seller along side consumer goods, it was disappointing to receive a piece measuring 0.238-0.240 thick and 11.875 x 5.97 (11 7/8 x almost 6). My experience with metal tolerances has always been +0.xxx / -0.000 (i.e. guaranteee the stated dimensions w/ability to cut/grind/nibble down as needed). Guess Ill have to stick to metal shops unless metal suppliers like ths one correct their specifications or improve their fabrication methods.

They do state in the dimensions that it’s not actually 6x12 but the description of the product says 6x12 so it’s a bit misleading. Other than that it was perfect. Flat as a rock and nice and true with crisp 90s on all the corners.

I bought this sheet and had it sent to a buddy that has all kinds of metal working equipment. he cut me a bracket out with his laser table to hold my nitrous solenoids and a fuel pressure regulator. worked out well.

The Sheets were Well packaged The down side was the metal edges were rough cut and very sharp. A very slight buffering of the edges would be appreciated

A solid chunk of aluminium! Works great as a heat sink for my hotspot!
