The Clips work, but I am concerned over time will they become brittle.

Great product you get alot for your money

More than I needed but the price is right. These take care of business and as outdoor use bakes anything like this over time I can just slap on a new one as needed.

Products arrived quickly and are as required ti finish the job.

Update: one SoCal summer in direct sunlight and the plastic tubing around the lights turned dark brown; drastically affecting the lights visibility when turned on. Wouldnt purchase for use in direct sunlight. Work for string lights but need to be UV protected in order for them to last in our SOCAL desert heat and sunshine. Theyre probably ok for other climates. They are brittle, one broke when I moved the rope light. They have been out there 3 months. This is why they got 3 stars.

These are standard rope light clips with two-screw attachment holes. But the screws are ridiculously small. I took one look and sent them back.

Have purchased these many years ago and they have lasted a long time. I have a few that are started to get weathered so I purchased more for replacement. If you have rope lights these are the best to hold them in place

Clips look good in your hand, but they are very flimsy. I found when I was putting the rope lights in a clip they would snap very easy. Which means having to get the tools out again to replace.

I hand rope lights around the two windows and front door during holidays. After awhile, the plastic clips break due to cold weather and wear and tear. These clips are identical to the ones included with the rope lights. 2 holes to screw in to wood framing. Well built, and crystal clear.
