I am thrilled that I no longer need to drag out my big old ironing board when I need to iron smaller pieces of fabric for my sewing and crafting projects. I love it! I wish I knew about this gem sooner.

There is no way this is a five star reviewed product. There is no way that this product is 100% wool and the very first time my iron touched the pad it was covered in black goo which then transferred to my project. Shame on Amazon for carrying this.

Love my wool pressing pad. It is just what I was looking for. Great quality at a good price. Large enough to do a wonderful job and small enough to fit in the space I had planned.

It works great! Heated both sides of material fast and the mat does not slide! Planning on purchasing more for my other rooms. They will come in handy.

It doesn’t take up much room and I can easily set it aside if needed.

This works great! I read reviews and was worried about smell but I dont smell anything. And it doesnt leave residue on my iron. Maybe their irons were too hot or maybe they left the iron in one spot for too long? I dont know. But it works wonderfully with my mini iron.

Do not use iron rest on any other surface than wool mat. Wish there were instructions. I used it on the wool mat and really liked it. I now realize I was foolish, but I put very thick layers of cotton tea towels under the rest to see if heat would travel through to my cutting mat, left iron ~15 sec. and my mat was warped when I checked it. Worse case I expected to be warm. But better that than my kitchen counter! I’m very happy with this reasonable priced wool mat, and the iron rest when used on the pad. I am looking at getting the larger size as well.

I really like this wool ironing mat. It did smell a bit like a sheep when I received it but I sprayed it with Febreeze and no issues. Doesnt make what I iron smell either. It is a really good size. The only issue I had was user error, had my iron up too hot and scorched a little bit of the mat. Doesnt affect the mat at all. So glad I bought this.
