Turned out that I couldnt use these hinges. Not worth returning. Put them in my hardware cabinet for later use.

Hinges fit perfectly on to older doors and worked as planned. Price was very good compared with local hardware stores.

Im sure they would work fine in some homes but seller did not respond to my return request.

Product was fine, delivery was great. BUT, Amazon only shipped me 9 of the 12 pack I purchased. I don’t like being shorted!

In the process of converting all of my door hardware in the house from brass to black. For the price these work excellent. After install however, none of the doors would close smooth anymore. I think these take up a fraction of an inch more space than the standard brass hinges. I had to run the planar on the door handle side to get the doors to shut. Not a huge issue, but if youre looking for an easy 5 minute conversion, this might not be for you.

I replaced my old silver hinges for these to match new door hardware. The hinges were all in good condition with no scratches. The color was a good matte black and not shiny. I did have some trouble removing the pin from the hinge, but soon realized that removal was not even necessary in order to change the hardware. Just unscrew one existing hinge and replace it with the new, intact hinge. Do this one at a time and youll never even need to remove the door or the hinge pins. An easy update!

Just received and installed, I like that everything was individually packaged. The color is perfect, no scratches. I actually have to order more because I miscounted. Some of them were a little hard to open and close but nothing a little WD-40 couldn’t fix.
