Used for wet sanding mineral specimens and have used this in the past. The product is effective and you get along of sanding discs. One disappointment is that unlike my previous purchase, the backing on the sanding sheet separated from the sanding paper which made re-use sometimes impossible. My first purchase of this set didn’t have that problem. Maybe a change in adhesive supplier?

I have found that this sandpaper + the buffering pad are very useful to achieve a very good result when doing jewelry pieces of small and medium size. The sandpaper comes in separated bags according to its grit. The shank and buffering pad are perfect to use with a Dremel tool. I am very satisfied with this product. I would like the seller to include softer sanding circles, up to the 30000. This is my second purchase and no doubt that I will get more in the next future.

This product works great my note is make sure the shank is all the way down your Dremel or if you put it on the high speed it will bend and it will be one heck of a mess the discs were out rather quickly I use them for rock polishing but they are well worth the money as you get multiple discs and multiple grits

This product is fantastic!! My wife uses it for polishing rocks we find on our local beaches. It cuts her polishing time a lot and gives a fantastic finish!!!

The discs were marked with the grit number in individual bags. So you knew what you were using. Also Ive seen people claim the discs didnt stay on. I used them to restore the headlight lens on my truck and used soapy water for lubrication. I had no problem at all.

I used these to remove engraving on a camera. They worked well. They are easy to set up and they fastened firmly. I didnt have any problens with slippage or premature wear.

No purple or green disc. So it’s ok. Would of shopped around more

So, I bought this because its a lot of product for a low price but I should have known that quality fat outweighs quantity. • I had been using my Dremel with these and got like a week of good use out of it. The loop Velcro worked great for me even though others have said the pads dont stick, albeit I did have to really press the pad down a few times to make sure it was good and stuck on there. • The grits are actually pretty decent even though they dont last very long. I shine rocks and these definitely did the trick. I was pretty impressed. • One thing that made me concerned was it made my Dremel make a horrible sound when turned even to the lowest setting, while all of my other bits make a nice hum even when at the highest setting. I figured it was just because it was heavier. I learned later that its due to the whole thing being horribly off centered. • So after a week of use, I decided I was going to turn the RPMs up a bit more. Now I full well knew that others had the issue of the mandrel bending but it hadnt happened to me so I ignored it. The mandrel bent immediately after turning the Dremel up a bit. So, I had the second one that they put in the package and I was bound and determined that that wouldnt happen again, mainly because I had all these useless discs if it did happen again. So what I did was I took a cut off disc for metal and cut about an inch of of the shaft. I figured that if the shaft was too long, it would bend but making it shorter would keep it from bending. Well, it worked. Still made my Dremel scream in pain but it worked so Im good with it. • After another week of use, my Dremel up and decided enough was enough and straight up died on me. Im not sure if it was because of this product or not but its odd that Ive been using this Dremel for years and now after using this, it just dies. So I go to my nearest Walmart to pick up another Dremel but they have a sale on their brand of Rotary Tool called Hyper Tough for $19.95. I bit the bait and bought it and if it shot craps, I would be out $20. This RT is a beast and a BANG for your buck and I highly recommend picking one up while theyre on sale. • So I get home and immediately break into it cuz Im giddty with having a new toy to play with. I insert this product into my new toy and turn it to its lowest setting just to be safe. It immediately starts to make that screaming sound the Dremel made before it. I figured at this point that its just gonna make that sound no matter what tool I used. So I get to sanding and everything seem fine until the whole tool starts to rattle violently. In a split second the button to release the collet pops off along with the spring at lightning speed! I turn off the tool and was fearing that this dang product just wrecked another one of my toys. Took me a while to find the button and spring and put it back in place. I figured that that was just a fluke so I try it again. Same thing happens but this time it took me far too long to find the spring and thought I was just out of luck. • Again the thought went through my mind that Im just not gonna be able to use this product and have a bunch of useless discs. Now Im no quitter and was determined to make this work until I could figure out a better course of action. So what I did was I took a little strip of electrical tap and put it over the button so it literally COULD NOT pop out again. Well, it worked as shoddy as it was. Now the only thing I use it for is to be able to sand at the five thousand and ten thousand grits. • The other issue I had with this product is that the buffing pad WILL NOT stay on no matter what you do. I pressed that thing down for five minutes and even on the lowest setting the pad just flings off. Im not gonna use this thing anymore, its too much of a liability in ruining my tools. What I would suggest to anyone that needs something like this, and what I did, was I bought a pack of nine inch sandpaper sheets ranging from one hundred and twenty grit to ten thousand grit from Amazon and made my own discs. If you want to get the sixty and eighty grit sheets, you can pick up a pack of four or five sheets from Walmart for like four bucks. So what I did was, I took the sheets of sandpaper, took a two inch cut off disc, which come with most Rotary Tools, used it as a template, made circles out the back of the paper and cut them out. Make sure to put a dot down the center of the cut off disc to poke holes through it. I used a large sowing needle to make the center holes in the paper discs. Keep the cut off disc handy because its instrumental in the final use. Get yourself one of the mandrels that unscrews at the top, again, this should come with most RTs. Place your newly made paper discs on top of the cut off disc you used for the circle template and push the tiny screw through the center of both the paper disc and the cut off disc. Then screw down both of those to the main mandrel and voíla! You have your own homemade sanding discs! They work perfect for me and since youre using higher quality sandpaper, the discs last FAR longer than these poopy pads. So do yourself a favor and save your money for what I did. I feel like you save money in the long run because you can make fifty to one hundred sanding discs with a few sheets of sandpaper of each type of grit. You wont have to worry about something like this product with its bent shafts, imbalance or fear of straight up breaking you RT. I highly recommend you guys take my route. Good luck!

Pads don’t stay attached to the backer. I’ve tried various speeds, pressure, no pressure. The hook and loop surface just doesn’t have the grip
