1x30 inch Leather Honing Strop Belt Super Strop with White Buffing Compound fits 1x30 Powered Belt Sanders

I strop my knives. This makes it super fast and easy. Didnt like the compound for the belt that came with it. I use my own green compound.

I have found that it works better for me sharpening wood carving gouges and V tools. I dont know why. It seems I can get a better edge on my knives with a plain old strop/with compound. Maybe I havent perfected my technique yet.

New at sharpening knives. got this leather strop for my belt sander and its amazing puts a mirror finish on a fine razor sharp edge. I didnt realize how sharp stropping on a belt sander is. you can get a really fine edge a really nice finish.

Belt needed no stretching to get onto my WEN 1 x 30 belt sander. It comes with some white polishing compound which works well on the belt. A couple light passes over the strop and the razor sharpness shines.
