Works for its purposes. Cannot attest to longevity yet, but working right out of the box is always a plus.

I switched over to this after I was tired of random burnt-out heating bulbs. I swapped this in and have not looked back, it seems to keep the temp at around 74F in my aquarium no matter the time of day.

I have not had to use my bulbsuch but when I have, they have worked great. The thermometer works great. I use it often.

I think both of these within a week have failed no heat output not worth the materials are made of.

Lets start off by saying this lamp is absolutely hot to the touch and when it is in your light socket. The heat on it is okay sometimes my room gets a little colder and I dont like to let my bearded dragons tank drop below 65. They say between like 65 and 70 is the perfect temperature. I think it is better for smaller cages. I think as it gets hotter though the light definitely works better.
