Works with ring doorbell.

This thing get extremely hot!!!!!!!!!!! It does the job but is a fire hazard

It was a necessary part in being able to properly use my doorbell cam.

The resistor is well designed, but I didnt end up using it yet, but the quick release wire connectors are great, and come in handy for fast low-voltage wiring changes. Just pull the lever and insert your stripped wire and release the lever and youre all set.

Worked great to connect by Ring Doorbell Pro 2 directly to the transformer without a doorbell. Hopefully this will be reliable and last a long time. This came in a 2-pack so at least I have a spare if the 1st fails. Note: It is best to solder connections to the wiring. I soldered to the doorbell wiring and connected directly to the transformer.

The first thing I noticed was the quick connectors dont work at all. And when I hooked it up the voltage was too high and I checked and its not dropping the voltage across the resistor at all. Ive got 9 volts from the source and 9 volts after the resistor which means its not working as a resistor and thank God I tested it before I hooked it up or I would have burnt out my doorbells.

First off, quick connects do not work at all. The Resistor seem to be making my gate work, but I had to mount them outside the box. After just a couple open and close cycles they have already burned into the 4x4 post
