These are surprisingly solid, and of high quality. I think it is stupid to have a category of Light weight... as if that is a good thing for a magnifying glass... Glass is heavy by nature. It is re-molded stone. You want it to be heavy -- otherwise you are talking about a plastic lens, which scratches easily and has inferior optical properties. These were very solid, very reasonably priced, and Ill be buying more int he future. the only negative is that the plastic around the lens is a little cheesy... I dont think it would be to the liking of Sherlock Holmes... but for the price, very excusable.

I ordered 7 varieties of magnifying tools, specifically for reading books. I choose these because size, light weight, color (liked because total black objects are hard to find), mainly for their clarity/ sharpness. Thanks

These arrived quickly and theyre exactly as they appear in the listing. They require a slightly greater distance for focus than exected, but the images are clear I like that theyre glass as they wont scratch as easily. The bright contrast color makes them easy to find in my bag. While heavier than a corresponding plastic magnifier, they feel solid and good quality. Im extremely happy w with this purchase. At this price it makes sense to buy multiples so they can be scattered around the house and office.

The pair of magnifying glasses just arrived quickly and well packed, and already I love them! One is for the kitchen and one is for my desk. My aging eyes have problems with small print and now I can read the small print on canned goods and jars again. The one at my desk will help me with my genealogy work in reading small or faded dates regarding ancestors. You cant make a mistake with dates on family trees, or else someone can be written as being older than his mother! Good quality, good value for the low cost.

I liked the price, it was like getting two sturdy, heavy duty, wide magnifying wide lens magnifying glasses for the price of one. I am now at that age where my vision is not as sharp, or clear as it used to be ,so I wear glasses to see reading material at close range, but even with that,there is print so small that a magnifying glass must be used, especially important things like cell phone information or labels on my medication bottles, I am also a long time collector, which includes rare postage stamps and coins where a magnifying glass is a must have, I am very satisfied with my purchase and the free one day delivery it took to reach me,thankyou Amazon, writing by another satisfied customer.
