Disappointed with product. Had to assemble ends to make fit . Installed so far they work.

Just completed the installation on my 2003 Ford Excursion (4WD, 7.3L, if either matters). Went on smoothly and as easily and simply as I could have hoped. Very strong piston arm action. This big and heavy truck hood now raises with ease (almost self-propelled) and is much safer. I would buy these again, I would recommend to a friend. (Caveat: I gave it 5 stars for what I hope will be excellent longevity, but they have actually only been installed for an hour. They do, however, seem to be a well made item). Very glad to have them.

The truck is 20 years old and the hood lift cylinders hadn’t worked well for awhile. Been putting off buying for years. Decided to order these to push the cost above the $25 min for free shipping. Installed in less than five minutes and immediately could see the difference. No more broom handle holding hood up. During caliper swap, hood was up for over 5 hours. We’ll see if I get 15+ years out of these.

I could finally take my doll rod prop out!! Fit perfect and easy to install.

The hood on my 2000 F350 almost killed me more than a few times due to the supports being worn out. These replacements work great and now I don’t have to worry about my hood falling down in me.
