This product does exactly what it states. We use the white to make our remote visible on our dark furniture. It keeps our remote safe from falls and accidents.

While I love Apples products and their designs, their remote is not one of them. Sure it looks nice but try picking it up from a smooth surface. Try picking it up without hitting the touchpad and affecting what youre watching. These easy to install rubber sleeves elevate the remote slightly so it makes it easy to pickup. The design also makes it easy to know which side the touchpad is on. Also provides protection in case of a drop. The only thing I didnt like is that one of the sleeves is black. Since the remote itself is black, it doesnt make it easy to know which side the touchpad is on when youre casually picking it up. The red sleeve, on the other hand, is perfect. I know exactly where the touchpad is and the bright color makes it easy to see on dark furniture. I wish the seller gave an option on selecting 2 colors without one of them being black.

It is basically essential to have a protective case for the modern Apple TV remote (the thin black version with the touch sensitive area, and silver back). This is especially the case if you have small children around or if you home is less than perfectly tidy.

We always lose our apple remotes between the couch cushions or in blankets, and with our hardwood floors, I hesitate to shake out blankets to find them because the glass on the remote can easily crack -but not anymore! At this price you cant go wrong.
