I can connect high-amp power switches, batteries, etc. in my solar power system using these and 1/0 gauge wire bought by big lengths. They will fit all the bolt-and-screw connections (516 and 3/8 ) between bus bars, batteries, and various pieces of equipment. I use the 1/0AWG to start with so that as I increase the storage and output capacity of the system, the wires will not need to be replaced.

As Amazons photo is so crystal clear, so; I didnt like 3/8 hole along with not enough of copper around the hole. I had decided to get 5/16 for tightly fit my batterys bolt, that I had really love. I had though, to bore the 5/16 at 1mm. larger for fit, that I didnt have to.

Worked perfect for my set-up. Easily crimped with hammer crimper.

Not much to say. Theyre true copper, thick enough to get a quality hammer crimp even on heavy 7-strand wire. Good connection and arent corroding at all even months later. Was capable of drilling one out to take a 3/8 lug without the bit grabbing it and turning it into a pretzel, which also says something.

I purchased these 5/16 as well some with 3/8 hole fittings, I used the 3/8 on the battery terminals and these fit nearly everything else, The starter, the new Fuse link I added, the alternator (with some filing down), I stuffed some solder in the fittings, wrapped the wire with some more solder, slipped on some shrink tubing, shoved the 2 ga wire in fitting all the way to the sheeting, I then used my hydraulic crimpers (which I loved) and crimped the connectors on, I then too a small butane torch and melted the solder, after it cooled down I slid the shrink wrap over it and heated to make a nice clean connection - These fittings worked perfect !!!!!
