We recently purchased a set of four locking casters for our kitchen island. The wheels are very sturdy and run quietly across the floor without damaging our new tile. The locking mechanism was a bit stiff at first but works perfectly now. These wheels are a great solution for moving heavy objects around and securing them once they are in position. We would definitely buy them again, should the need arise.

I used them on a heavy 2x4 and 4x4 work bench I made...slides smoothly and stays in place when I Lock them! I already ordered 2 more sets and probably more in the near future.

As expected, rolled smoothly, locked wheel rotation & swivel. I used them on rolling table in my woodworking shop.

Really liked extra large locking petal. Excellent quality and value. Have purchased four other sets.

Works great. Put them in a bottom of a workbench. The holes are a little big, i had to put some washers in for my screws to fit

They are bigger than I thought, but they work very well. So easy to lock and unlock, and they glide along the floor. Well constructed.

Solid let of wheels. Very smooth and sturdy.

Havent installed the casters yet. They look so heavy duty that I decided to save them for my next, larger, woodworking project.

So far I have been very pleased with these. Used them on a mobile platform for a table saw. Have only had them a couple of weeks though so time will tell. But so far they roll and turn easily. The locks are easy to lock/unlock.

The ball bearings rattle loose around the mounting pin/bolt. Basically instead of rolling on the bearings, the casters roll loosely around the mounting pin (why even have them?) The swivel is loose as well and rocks from side to side by about 1/16 - 1/8. These are dual-locking, i.e. the wheel and swivel lock at the same time - but to accomplish that the teeth in the brake need to interlock with the teeth in the swivel. Half the times they wont until you jiggle the wheel around. After that, it is still jiggling from side to side. I guess if you all you need is to roll some cabinets or shelves, these would work. For precision tools, or work platform, forget it.
