Everything fits nicely, even the charger. The case I got for my old 3ds wouldnt carry the Ds and the charger. This one is already better by holding both.

This became a surprise for my son. He will turn 5 in Nov. We gave him the new Nintendo inside the case. He has a lot of fun with both. The case is strong and everything fits nice inside. The pockets are great for holding the games. So much easier to keep everything together in one place. My son loves the case and game.

It fits the Nintendo 2DS XL well. I like the included stylus pen because my son has already lost the original. I like that it has an extra pouch to store games. You cant keep the console in the case when you want to use it to play games. Like others have mentioned, it smells pretty bad initially. The stench has disappeared, but it did take awhile to clear.

Functionally, the case is fine. It zips well and I believe it would keep the system and a few games safe if I accidentally dropped it. That being said, my 2dsxl has a very thin plastic casing on it, and when I put it in this carry case it seems like its a really tight fit, and thats without any games in the case! The makers definitely did not account for the user maybe having a 1 mm case on their system when they were making this product. It also wouldnt be able to contain your -whole- system (ds, games, charger). This would maybe be okay if this was just for travel or something. Most annoyingly though, it smells HORRID - almost like it came from a house where the residents spent all their time blowing cigarette smoke directly at it. I do like how it came with screen protectors, but I havent used them yet so I cant attest to how well they work. Ill probably return this item and buy a different case if I can find something better. Alsoooo this is just aesthetics but the blue on the case isnt the same blue thats on the ds (the case trim is darker, more like a royal blue instead of the turquoise thats on the system), so if youre a sucker for matching things then this isnt for you, haha. Update 3/14/18: Seller contacted me directly right after this review was posted and offered a full refund without me having to return the product, which was very nice of them. Also, after a day of sitting in the sun the case smells slightly better, so I hope it will be useable soon.

if you put the charger in the mesh pouch you have to squeeze it a little to zip up easily. probably more if you load up the elastic card slots with games

the only downside was on the handle of the case, tiny spot of fibers were cut or somehow loose, making a tiniest brooch under neath the rubber handle but otherise perfect! perfect timing and use!

Good case, could be a little thicker for plug.

Purchased this case for my 5 year old nephew for his birthday yesterday. He seemed very pleased with it. The construction seemed quite well, the zipper moved easily and the case was fairly hard. Of course it isnt made of steel, so it wont completely protect your DS, but should do a good job! It came with a stylus and a couple of screen protectors. It even has storage for DS games (not sure how many, but I think at least 8?). Was happy I made the purchase. It even matched his new DS, Blue and Black!

First let me admit that I am hard on my electronics and I broke my beloved Nintendo 2DS XL. I used it all the time and when Id go somewhere Id just throw it in my backpack. I didnt have any screen protector nor outside armor on my device. I didnt even put it into a special case. Then one day it only showed a blank screen when I tried to use it. I had to send it off to Nintendo for repair. I immediately went online looking for protection for my 2DS XL and found this. I ordered clear armor that fits on my device, screen protectors, and this special case to put it all in once I got my 2DS XL back. NOTE: This comes with screen protectors, so now I have extras. Once Id gotten my 2DS XL back I immediately put the clear armor on it, then promptly dropped it. The armor saved my device! When I put my 2DS XL into my backpack, it goes into this special case FIRST. Ive carried it around with me several places and I usually am as hard on my backpack as I am on my other things. I tend to drop my backpack down wherever I am or throw it into a back seat. Since Ive been using this case, my 2DS XL seems to be much happier than its ever been. It doesnt have that deer in the headlights look when I open it up like it used to before I got this case. I like that it has little holders for my other DS game cartridges as well as a nice, BIG stylus. I didnt think Id need the stylus because my 2DS XL has a built-in stylus, but when I put the clear armor on my 2DS XL it makes it a little more difficult to access the built-in stylus even though theres an opening for accessing it. Plus the stylus on a 2DS XL is, well, very small compared to the one on the 2DS or the 3DS. So overall, Im really, really glad I bought this and wish Id bought it at the same time that I originally got my 2DS XL. Going forward, Im going to get armor and cases for all my mobile devices. Keeps them alive much longer!

Great product. It’s a sturdy hard case and fits the 2DS perfectly. Love the color.
