3-PACK - Aurifil A1050-2600 Mako Cotton Thread Solid 50WT 1422Yds Dove

This is my go-to thread for all my quilting piecework and any basic seam work for face masks, sewing projects. I can then reserve my matched colored thread for exterior stitching, quilt designs, or zigzag embellishments.

My complaint is that for some reason, the thread is not evenly wound on the spool so it tends to not wind well on the bobbin. So is this not a good way to buy this thread? I thought this Aurifil thread was one of the best threads to use for quilting needs.

Quilting

I bought a different set of glasses for my home. 1. They were easy to tip over. 2. The well on the bottom of the cup holds water from the dishwasher so after the dishwasher cycle, I still have to dry them out. My kids said the others were always being tipped over. So I got some shorter, fatter plastic cups. The new ones also have a well on the bottom of the cut, but it is more shallow and holds less water. Is there a cut with a solid, heavier bottom? I dont know. But I would keep my eyes out for that option.

the dove gray color goes with most any other color. I use it all the time piecing quilts. Great price and I will continue to purchase this product.

I create a number of quilt tops a year and have used a variety of different threads. Aurifil is beautiful thread - beautiful colors, not very linty, and works perfectly in my machines every time.

Nicely shrink wrapped for shipping. I’d buy again.

I love to use this thread when I make quilts. It keeps your sewing machine innards clean instead of lint bound as happens with other threads.
