> 24 hourthese work best if you slide/secure the clip to the screen top first, then gently pull down to the lower tank-rim lip; reverse for removal/opening. Theyre more than sufficient for the job of securing the screen top, though, its rather loud/ jarring, and may frighten a sensitive animal when opening /closing. -with the bad reviews of the other popular product, this leaves a great oppty for someone to invent a quiet + secure latching/ locking screen top; ideally something adjustable to size it, then a quiet way of engaging that locking ability. Also: Ive managed to bend one a bit out of shape already, while getting the hang of it. I ordered 3 pairs for use on a hinged screen top (two square opening, not the long half-rectangle type) and you do need 3 pairs as some animals could open up a tank secured with anything less.

> 24 hourGreat product!!! Easy to put on and take off and very secure. The design is very user-friendly unlike other clips I have tried. I use two of these clips for my hognoses ten gallon tank. I found I only needed 2 clips for the tank because they were sufficient to keep the tank lid tightly closed. I recently tried out the remainder clips on my 20 gallon long tank. They did not fit. They were very difficult to put on completely. Unlike in my ten gallon tank, I had to press hard to make sure both the lid and the tank lip were clipped. They were extremely hard to take off again and bent on the bottom. My conclusion is that these are great for a ten gallon tank or smaller, but you would need to upgrade to the large size if you have a larger tank.

> 24 hourWorks great!!!! Ordering 3 packs was overkill but my ball python is just a baby at the moment, I can add the others as she gets bigger and stronger. Easy to put on and take off which is really nice!

> 24 hourGot for my escape corn snake. She cant get past them. Upsized her tank so we needed more than 2 clips since the wire topper was bendy in the middle.

> 24 hourI am beyond happy with this.and grateful for this product! Very satisfied! We have three mice who live in a tank and this keeps the cats out, no matter what the cats try! The only downside is these are really difficult to remove but theres a trick to it, YouTube has some videos, and you also must be aware not to put these on backwards or youll really have a hard time! Hard to remove= SAFE & HAPPY critters, and a fun TV show for the cats. Its a win-win!

> 24 hourThe clips themselves are perfectly fine, and for a good price. No complaints there. Be warned, however, that they are very snug and can be difficult to get off. I wouldnt recommend them for a tank youre going to be opening and closing often. The problem is that they do not fit any of my 20-gallon tanks. The tanks are a good ten years old or more, but are standard aquariums. However, the clips do fit my 10-gallon Aqueon, which is new. They probably are mostly universal for new tanks, but if your tank is a bit older you may have some trouble. The rim on my Aqueon is one inch tall, and I dont think these clips would fit anything much larger than that. For reference, the front side of the clips (across the opening) measures 1 1/8 inches, and the top (that lays against the screen) is 1 1/4 inches.

> 24 hourI am really glad I bought these clips. They clip on easily and are very secure. They can be a little tricky to get off at first, but once you do it a few times it gets easier. I feel my ball pythons are safe and secure in their tanks with these clips in place. Definitely would recommend buying these - Ill be purchasing another set very soon.

> 24 hourNot very easy removal but it does the job! Didnt have luck with the thin tank clamps so I bought these after my baby hognose escaped. Found him OUTSIDE from the third floor a month later. Freaking nuts! Never letting that happen again.
