Greater than one weekThese are nice, fast USB-C chargers and they were a good deal, but one just failed on me after well over a year. I thought surely it was the cable, but I swapped to a known-good cable, and then swapped to another wall adapter, and it was this product. Perhaps USB-C is more complicated than the old USB-A adapters that we all have dozens of, maybe there’s a service life to these value-priced products.

03-04-2025I have a very mixed feeling about these adapters. First and most important, these 20W wall adapters don’t work with MagSafe charging products. I tested with both an Apple MagSafe charger and an Anker MagSafe charger and these adapters didn’t work with either charger. This is really disappointing because I pretty much only use MagSafe to charge my devices, so for me it renders these adapters useless. But everyone’s use case is different and if you plan to use these adapters solely for charging with a lightning cable, they’re actually decent performers.
