IT WAS BARELY 4 FEET WIDE AND I WAITED 3 WEEKS FOR IT COMPLETELY UNUSABLE

This stainless steel screen material is promoted as a rodent barrier material but I got it for an entirely different purpose. I cleaned the the aluminum mesh filter on my range hood using a strong caustic oven cleaner, which was a mistake, because it dissolved the aluminum material. So I was stuck with trying to find a replacement filter. Well good luck. Apparently there is no such thing as standard filter sizes for range hoods and every maker seems to have their own unique filter dimension. I was unable to find a replacement filter of the size needed. So I decided to make my own filter using the original filter frame. I took this stainless steel screen, cut it to a size so I could fold it to make multiple layers sandwiched together, removed the damaged filter and installed the multi-layer screen in the original aluminum channel frame. It seems to work fine. Time will tell, I guess. But that is one new use for this versatile product. The screen came rolled in tube so no problem with the packaging reported by some customers.

Item is better than expected. Very easy to work with. Great price and dimensions are true to the advertising claim.

Keep rats out

Seller stuffed a long roll of this material into a tiny box putting bends and dents into the material rendering it useless to use as a smooth sheet as intended for window screen and door inserts. The product itself is a very good quality otherwise.

Jai dû le suspendre à laide dune pince afin de lui redonner sa forme de rouleau-tube.

This is decent mesh if it didn’t come folded up in a box. Should be shipped in a tube. The folds/creases left in it are permanent.
