Purchased for a 2021 Mazda CX-5 Signature (AWD). Item was delivered a day earlier than originally estimated. The box arrived unscathed, and the mats are packed well. The mats are basically packed flat, the rear mat is not creased; its loosely folded over/around the front mats and the box is sized to allow a gentle curve in the hump area of the rear mat - where it needs to curve anyway. Other than this 1 fold, the mats are packed flat. Absolutely no odor was noticed. The product looks beautiful; hard to believe its a set of all-weather mats. At first glance, they almost resemble a woven fabric (think tight Berber carpet) until you actually touch the surface. This is not your traditional rubber-looking all-weather mat. From the description, I was a little concerned with the MAXpider backing. (I had bought elastic net pockets to hold small items in the rear corners of the cargo area in a previous car, and the Velcro that attached them to the carpeted walls frayed the carpet badly when I removed the nets.) However, the backing on these mats is Velcro-ish, not true Velcro hook. The entire bottom side has what I can only describe as fiber whiskers that gently grab the carpet and prevent sliding. So as of now, I have little concern of damaged carpet. Nicely done, 3D. (Although possibly overkill because, based on the tight fit and stiffness of the mats, I dont think they could slide around even without this fiber feature, but better safe than sorry from a liability standpoint.) The fit is unbelievable. These mats couldnt fit the floor of this car any better if they were painted in. I installed the rear mat first (yes mat, singular, as in 1 continuous piece). At first I thought there was going to be some interference with the outboard front seat mount on the passenger side, possibly affecting the operation of the power seat. But I slightly squeezed the curled-lip edge of the mat and it pressed down, below the seat track, next to the rail - perfect. The mats are truly wall-to-wall and have an unobtrusive lip around the edges to contain liquids. The front mats went right in like they were made for it. A slight wiggle of the mat to get it into place and the locking holes lined up perfectly. The locks on the inboard side of both front mats refuse to snap, but they are in place and arent going to move unless the mat is lifted. (This might actually assist in easier removal for cleaning.) I couldnt wait to find out how they feel under foot. I found that with deck shoes, and with Sketchers, they have a nice grippiness, even wet (yes, it happened to be raining). I havent tried them wearing leather hard soled shoes, which can usually slip on any surface; but then I hardly wear those anymore, anyway. Since I just installed them today, I cant speak to durability or ease of cleaning. But they look great and the material seems to be quality. Honestly, my original intentions were to install these for the winter months, and put the original carpeted mats back in come late spring. But I packed the Mazda carpeted mats in the bag and box in which these mats arrived, and I may never see them again. If you believe your car is more luxury than utility and want a set of great looking all-weather mats to protect the carpet, dont hesitate. I dont know why major car manufacturers arent trying to team-up with this company to offer these mats as a factory accessory. The only thing that would make these mats better, in my opinion, is if they had the vehicles logo/emblem.

These mats fit perfectly in the 2022 Mazda CX-5. They keep all the gunk off the carpet but look really nice. Less utility truck like than other all weather mats. You have to use a brush to clean them but it’s worth it for the clean look.
