Amazing, brand new stepping into 2014 again

I was skeptical before ordering this game. I waited a few days just because I was worried about it being fake or not working. I kept thinking about it and reading reviews, and since most of them are good and the seller also accepts returns, I bought it. I am so glad I did. I have been playing this on my 3DS as much as I can in the evenings and it has worked fantastic. I have really enjoyed re-playing this game from my childhood. I have absolutely no complaints!

This is the U.A.E version of the game but its the same as the NA version. Kinda misleading. But works fine.

Despite being the UAE, Singaporean, etc. copy, this works perfectly in my U.S. 2DS and connects to Pokémon Bank. 5 stars.

Confused by many of these reviews that give one star. I havent played a Pokémon game since red and blue. Recently, I got the itch to play and after doing some research purchased a used Nintendo 3DS XL and this game. I live in the USA and had no issues using a world edition game. Apparently, they are worth less than a US version but still manufactured by Nintendo. I chose buying a cartridge over a digital copy from the eShop because I like being able to lend, resell or gift my games when I am done with them. Also, the price is the same $39.99 on the eShop and around $40 for the hardcopy. On the first installation of the cartridge into the 3DS I was prompted with a software update. Per the attached photos I was asked to select a language and then the game played normally. So far the game has no issues and I can save and load. I havent got far but having a good time.

It came brand new with plastic covering over the box/case. The game works perfectly fine on my nintendo 2ds, and I had a good time collecting all eight badges and beating the game. Well worth the money spent.
