The tape smells like bad chemicals and worst than that it leaves black residue all over your hands but other than that its cheap and works great. I recommend buying it if you just want some electrical tape for the house just Incase you need some but if you use it everyday for jobs then no unless you dont mind the black fingers and smell.

this is not your grocery or pharmacy cheaply made tape. this is 3M Scotch brand with hearty stick and ease of use. the real electrical tape for real electrical stuff. i use it for bike bar tape end wrap, electrical stuff, and really anything i want to stick but may want not to stick later. even after a year, i can remove it with only minimal goo.. nice thick roll should last me a good long while.

At the time I bought this violet electrical tape it was $4.35. Its great quality, but the color is a bit off putting if youre putting it in plain sight, but I knew it would be for inside outlets or walls, so it didnt matter what the color was to me since I wouldnt be able to see it anyways. I swapped out the outlets on my house and used this electrical tape for it. The electrical tape has held up well and it was less than $5.00 for the role. If you dont mind that its violet then its a great product to buy. The electrical tape adheres well to surfaces and it is definitely 3M quality. I use 3M sandpaper and this electrical tape and every time I use 3M products theyre excellent in terms of quality and perform well.

I admit when I first opened both rolls, the sides of rolls were so gooey/sticky. I just left opened rolls sit out for maybe a week and it was gone. I wanted the tape to wrap my rod iron which is peeling. I couldn’t afford to get repaired. This worked like a charm.

great tape works perfectly fine, the side of the roll was pretty sticky and collected some dirt.

It’s electric tape. It works. A whole lot cheaper locally, but I was just being lazy.

Very fast shipping. 3M tape is good stuff. You are paying about $2 more than Home Depot or Lowe’s. But it’s worth it for the convenience of Amazon fulfillment.
