> 3 dayI purchased this Hookit Disc Pad in addition to my Kawasaki variable speed buffer, as I wanted a quick and easy way to change out from using it as a buffer to going to a sander, polisher, etc. The price is somewhat high, but it is 3M and as always appears to be very well made. It uses standard velcro style backed pads (sandpaper, polishing pads, etc) and makes the changeover very quick. It also sits a bit higher than the standard pad on my buffer, which gives some extra clearance while going over the car or boat. It just helps to avoid those quick little bounces off the finish to really mess up your day! LOL. This is fairly universal from my understanding, so it should work with almost any buffer or sander that is not an random orbital unit.

> 3 dayI have only tried a couple pads and this is the same as we used in class. Ive been very happy with this and coupled with the 3M papers Ive been using, I probably wont be changing any time soon.

Greater than one weekI got the 3M pad after my best friend, who is a auto body painter, recommended it. After using I got to say it works very well. Using it on my new Hutchins 3500.
