My last set of toner was also aftermarket and finally ran low after a few years. That brand is no longer sold on Amazon, so I figured Id try another highly rated brand. It seems like they didnt skimp on toner; these seem pretty well filled for the price, and I didnt have any issues with streaking or toner splotches, which can happen with cheaper toner off-brands, so initially I was very happy with this purchase. However, I noticed that some of the colors were slightly off. The red wasnt truly red, it was more of an orange hue, for example. The rest of the colors seemed pretty accurate, but the color didnt seem anywhere near as vivid. I did an exchange on the first set, thinking it was just a bad batch. The replacement set has the same problem, so I returned the purchase and bought another after-market brand on Amazon, and Im much happier with those. The red is actually red, and the difference in color intensity is very noticeable. I wanted to love these, but the entire reason I buy color toner is so I can print in (accurate) color. This toner fell short of my expectations. Although I dont expect the difference to be as stark in a photo, Ill attach comparison images to this review. The top color is from this set, and the other is from a different, similarly priced brand on Amazon.

I am the one relies heavily on my printer for work and personal use, I am always on the lookout for affordable and reliable ink cartridges. I was initially worried that the ink might bleed or fade over time, but after several weeks of use, I have not experienced any of these issues. I print a lot of documents for work, and I was initially concerned that the cartridges would run out quickly. However, I have been pleasantly surprised by how long they have lasted. Even after several days of heavy use, I still have plenty of ink left. Of course, the longevity of the cartridges will depend on how much you use them, but in my experience, they have lasted much longer than other ink cartridges I have used in the past. The printing colors are vivid and true to life, and the ink dries quickly and doesnt smudge. I print a lot of documents with small text, and I have noticed that the text is sharp and easy to read, even at small font sizes. The colors were vibrant, and the images had excellent detail. Even when printing photos, the results were impressive, with accurate colors and great contrast.

Does what it needs to be doing

Ordered Generic Toner after the warranty expired to be safe. Works as planned at half the price.

Printer did not recognize the chip. What a waste. Looks like HP is locking down their printers to use only their toner cartridges. Otherwise, I guess if they would work, Id give them 5 stars.

Normally we pay anywhere up to 600 for authenticate HP toners. HP tends to update their firmware to prevent 3rd party cartridges. These just work. And they work well. I have used other brands, even theones where you have to swap out the chips yourself - and they didnt work. I was a waste of money. Based on the reviews, i took a chance on these and to be honest, I was pleasantly surprised. These toners installed normally, no fiddling with chips, and were detected. Now I did get an error saying that these were not HP toners, however, they still worked, This printer is shared with Sales and gets alot of use. I have had no complaints from sales or marketing team about print quality issues. Now, in the future, Ill never buy another HP printer. Until then, I will continue to use the toner cartridges.

Product arrived on time and worked as intended. Noticed no difference in print quality comparing to the original HP brand. Will purchase again when necessary!
