I bought this because of how bright the lights looked and it plugged in. I didnt want a battery-powered one. However, it comes with a USB connection. I had to add my own plug in order to connect it to an outlet. Not a big deal, since I had one. Comes with remote, so you can select a blinking style or no blinking if you prefer. You can set up timer to automatically go on and off. Since I plug all my decorations into one power strip, I just turn that on and off when I want. Very happy with this purchase. Lights were bright and even more beautiful in person. Pretty sturdy unit, unlike the plastic frame light ups Ive used previously. Came very quickly. Highly recommend!

Great window display. Bright and the remote works great.

I love the look and display. I do not like that the control is in the plug. It seems when the timer I use to light the star says it is time to start- It does not. I have to hit the button on the plug to make it light up and the timer only controls when it will go off. If I am out and come home the light is never on. disappointing.

The lights are pretty. I like the different modes. BUT my main reason for getting these stars over other less expensive ones that took batteries is because I could plug it in to a timer and have them come off and on automatically….. well…. They don’t. They turn off when timer turns off the power but when the timer turns on the stars do not turn on. I have to go push the little button on each of the usb plugs to turn them on and then cycle through the modes to get back to the mode I had them on. Unfortunately I am stuck with them because it’s too late to return and get something new before July 4th.

You need a USB port to plug in, thought it had an electrical cord to plug in.

Nice sturdy, bright window star. Unfortunately I did not realize it required a USB connection so I gave to my daughter and ordered a battery operated one for myself instead.

This star is super cute. I love that it has different ways to light up. Only reason it isnt 5 stars is when it arrived, box was opened and re-taped. The star was rattling inside the box. How it arrived undamaged Ill never know

Very pretty & really lit up window. However would have given 5 stars but there were absolutely no instructions
