If I could give it no stars I would! broke within 2 minutes of use. My brother and I have over 50 years woodworking experience between us. WE know how to use our equipment properly so it was not from misuse that this pad broke. I put it on and as soon as I touched it to wood it busted through the plastic on the back and flew off the holes that screw to the sander widened (plastic chewed up). I thought it was maybe just a fluke so I put the second one on and it did the same thing. I have a dewalt sander and always buy the dewalt replacement pad but tried to save money and wasted it instead!

I know, I know it says it will fit a Makita B05010. Not so. Oh, its close. So close that you might be tempted to try to make it fit. The first screw - fine. The second is where you get that feeling, but with a little persuasion you can get it to go. The third and last screw........ well go ahead and try. It will go in..... on the diagonal. Unless you enjoy cross threading and damaging your sander, I would just buy something else. I ended up very carefully re-drilling the hole and got it to work just because it was easier than the return hassle. I figured if I ruined it, Id be done with it. These pads seem to work fine, Just not on a Makita B05010.

Held new sanding disks on perfectly.

I use my sander all the time, but the hook and loop setup usually starts to fail about every other month. Home Depot has them but they are twice the price. Get two of them if you use it a lot. you will eventually need the extra one.

Sanding wooden bowls and spoons with this tool was excellent.

The product was a simple replacement of my existing sanding pad but none of the sanding discs would adhere to the pads. No matter what I tried, the pads would fly off within seconds of turning the sander on.

My Porter Cable orbital sander of five years finally needed a new pad. Three screws is all it took to remove and replace with this new pad with a perfect fit.

It fit my Porter Cable orbital sander perfectly. Easy to install and works great!
