This was supposed to be a replacement for my Makita orbital sander the holes never lined up I had to drill new holes if you don’t get it perfectly centered when you drill your own holes the unit will not operate correctly

Ive had my makita orbital sander for year and the original base was cracking. I thought Id have to buy a new sanders, but when purchasing sanding discs for the sander, a link came up for this base. It fits perfectly, all the sanding disc adhere great, the edge of the new sanding pad do not interfere and leave marks like my old one. It was quick and east to install. I unscrewed the original 3 screws and attached the new pad with the same original screws. Easy peasy. It took less than ten minutes. I do recommend this replacement pad. Great product.

I should have changed them a while ago. Sure is nice that the paper isnt flying off anymore.

This product is advertised as compatible with the Makita B05010. I ordered it to replace a broken pad on my Makita. The three screw holes do not align with the screw holes on the machine. There is a visible discrepancy of perhaps 1-2 mm, but enough to make it impossible to attach this pad to the machine. Very poor product, dont purchase.
