I wants a stiff horsehair but received soft and had to repurchase from different place.

Outside roll ok but in center, horsehair was torn and dirty

Used it to do the edge of a cute retro dress and for cosplay worked great as intended

Masks for singers stick out 4-5 inches from the face to allow space for breath and need to have some stiffening so that they dont collapse. The 3 wide horsehair braid was perfect to use for this purpose. I highly recommend it.

Got what we ordered.

This is a great value and the quality was good. I ordered 50 yards. I added this to a full formal gown. When I was done It didnt appear I had a substantial amount left. I measured the dress and I had used approximately 10 yards (30 ft) I measured the remaining and I had 14 yards left. This equates to only receiving approximately 24 yards not 50 yards. I called Amazon customer service and since I couldnt return and reorder they offered me a credit on my account for $10. Im happy with the resolution, however you may want to verify the your order after you receive it. Possibly the package was cut for 25 yards and labeled as 50 yards? Just a heads up.

Added just the right touch to the hem of a gown.

It comes wrapped up in an oval. It is a tad difficult to get the curve out. But you have to otherwise the hem will follow the direction the braid is curving. Using low heat, a damp ironing cloth, and multiple passes, I was able to get remove the curves and get it straightened out. Otherwise it sews nicely and is quality - doesnt easily crack.
