(500) Days of Summer [DVD] [2009]

One of the best rom coms in years. Such an interesting narrative yet it is surprisingly easy to follow the plot despite the constant changes in time

Predictably, based on their quirky personalities, - this film brought two now famous actors to wide awareness. It appeared to me to be a deceptively formula driven film. I thought it was occasionally poignant in some scenes that were slow... cooked.... so you could get it. I would guess that many people living in the USA for the past 3 decades recognized the key rom-com elements (narration etc).

FAVORITE ROMANCE MOVIE EVER. Even though it technically, is not a love story. I love how I can take away something different from during different phases of my life (aka each miserable month before and after a heart-break.) Have probably seen this over 10 times now, but it still makes me laugh and weep.

This movie is definitely different. Its a romantic comedy that you never expected. And you wont guess the ending I promise! Just watch it!

Nice movie

Love this movie. Its not quite an indie film but it wasnt a big budget blockbuster either. The acting is good and the concept and way the movie flows is absolutely great. Even if youre not going to buy it, I would definitely recommend finding some way to at least watch it if you havent already seen it.

We have all seen the traditional love story and like the movie narrator said...this is not one of them. I have seen a great deal of romantic films, most of them involve a lot of adolescence and 80s new wave music. 500 Days of Summer, however is truly something special.
