It is soft flexible air tubing that fits standard 1/4 air line, but its a little more thin that I would hope and came with some kinks in it, but was still perfectly usable even with the kinks.

It worked very well fir what I need.

Flexible, not too stiff

Deep Jungle Black Flexible air line is my new go-to airline for my aquariums. I have been using this airline for more than 60 days and now have a total of about 40 feet of it in use. It is flexible and easy to work with, and less buoyant than other airlines I have used, so it requires less to secure in the tank and stays in place better than others I have used. The black color is less noticeable in the aquarium than the clear or blue colors, so it is easier to hide. It has remained flexible so far and has not discolored, but I do use RO water (very low in mineral content) in my tanks, which may be part of the reason. Not the cheapest airline available, but well worth the price.

this is my second purchase of this tubing. its great because its flexible. it doesnt harden like the clear plastic tubing. i highly recommend this product.
