> 3 dayI already owned another borescope by this company, but I wanted one with a shorter cable. I often dont need a very long cable and it just ends up getting in the way. The rigidity of the probe is very good - just enough to push it into tight spaces. The IPS display is crystal clear and the LED on the camera is bright enough to illuminate dark spaces. There is hardly any picture lag, which makes navigating a lot easier.

> 3 dayIm sure there are more expensive bore scopes that do the same job but why spend more money. Once ypu have it, you will find millions of uses for it.

> 3 dayFirst use – I initially got this to inspect a corner of my attic. I thought there might be a slow leak, and I wanted to catch it before any real damage occurred. Unfortunately, the slope of the roof made it impossible for me to crawl close enough to inspect the area. To get there, I spent five bucks, purchased a 10-foot length of ½-inch PVC pipe, and then ran the cable through pipe. When the end of the cable popped out the end of the pipe, I could easily look around the target area. Thankfully, no signs of water infiltration or damage.

> 3 dayThis is a borescope with some great features, a few extras, and all at a great price. Ive owned Depstech borescopes before, but this one is even better than the previous designs. Its completely stand alone and comes with everything you need right out of the box.

> 3 dayThe borescope just rigid enough to make it easy to go long distances in a crawl space without straying off course.

> 3 dayThe first time I got a DEPSTECH device was the wireless endoscope, which while it did work it was a hassle having to set it up with my iPad which stretched the image a bit much at times for it to be truly clear, but it was still usable. The camera approach on this new device makes it very convenient to look at areas of concern for potential issues without the need of an external device (except to share the photos or footage with people not able to view it directly). Once you make sure your scope is completely plugged into the main device where it receives video and emits light from the end, you are good to go. I used it to look into a wall cavity with a portion of wall that seemed to be bulging out to look for mold. I didn’t post any photos because I found no mold, it was just the wood bowing.
