Work perfect for power wire upgrade. I had an old stereo system in a beater truck and power wire took a crap. This one should hold up for a long time solid copper. Very heavy and flexible maybe a little undersized for gauge but will work fine.

Im building a Galley for the back on my Jeep Wrangler and I need to power a 12v to 120v inverter and a 12v Refrigerator/Freezer. Im running these cables from my Dual Battery set-up under the hood to the back of my Jeep with a Quick Disconnect so I can remove the Galley when Im not camping.

I bought this for my four channel JBL amplifier, it was recommended to run at 4 gauge. I have a 1987 Dodge Pickup. I was redoing all sound related (and many other) wires in the truck at the same time, Getting true Oxygen Free Copper cables was important to me. I also didn’t want a super shiny power cable running around with my otherwise unflashy truck. I’ve used welding wire for starter cables and ground cables, but I was tired of buying it by the foot from the battery shop. I purchased this cable, and a nice lug crimp, and now I can make professional looking heavy gauge cables at my leisure. I will definitely be buying this brand in the future for any such projects. I didn’t measure the gauge, but it was plenty thick compared with any other 4 gauge wire I’ve worked with. Not super fine strands of copper, not super thick either. It’s great that they offer so many gauge and length options when shopping on Amazon.

These cables are definitely true size copper wires no bs there. Very beefy cables. I personally used them to make some jumper cables and they worked out great. For the price u just cant beat it, well worth it.
