Fit my 6 inch buffer/polisher, all the ones i have seen seem to use this same thread pattern. I needed to do some paint correction on the roof of my Nissan Armada. These held up to cutting the whole roof and then polishing it. The pad still looks new and shows no wear. I have no doubt this 2 pack will last me for several years buffing out and taking care of my own vehicles. I do not know how they would hold up in a professional setting, but for personal car care this is very worth getting.

This a great replacement if you need a new backing pad. It’s a good value for a two pack. I have a Porter Cable orbital polisher and it fits and threads perfectly. It’s adheres to the foam pad pretty well. I have had other pads that adhered more, but this does a good job of holding the foam pads and will get the job done.

I bought this for buffing my boat and cars. Said it was hook and loop but was not. I still use them for polishing pads with the drawstrings.

The pad on my Porter Cable buffer was falling apart, so I confirmed that 5/16 x 24 was the size thread I needed, and ordered these. Fit perfectly and works great. I did try the second pad on some of my other sanders and buffers, and it fit MOST of them - but not all. So confirm the thread size before ordering.

These work great! You just slap them on the polisher and go! Easy install and great adhesion. Must have with this polisher.
