> 24 hourThese are the best way to baby proof an outlet. I wouldnt buy anything else, they are so easy to use, nothing to pull out of the outlet just use the plug in your hand to slide the shield to the side and slide the plug in with one motion. Automatically closes behind you when you pull a plug out so even if something is plugged in and a child gets a hold of the cord it will be safe as soon as the cord is tugged out. I used these for my done and 10 years later Ive purchased then again for my daughter they are still the best product on the market.

> 24 hourPurchased these for a friend, who was having problems with her son sticking his fingers in outlets. She was really excited to get these to use. They came as described and quickly.

> 24 hourThis is a great product, but it doesn’t accommodate two-pronged outlets and I wish that had been made clear in the product info. This only works if your outlets have all three prongs.

> 24 hourSo far these seem to be working well for my 20 month old. With the plastic plugs we stuck in the outlets, he would remove them and bring them to me. Kind of defeated the purpose. These work great. He is unable to figure them out. Lets hope it stays that way!

> 24 hourWorks well most of the time. The slide over feature is pretty easy to use. Two problems. 1) Some of the covers came stuck in the closed position. We had to get a screwdriver and force it open the first time. Then they worked well. 2) This outlet lays on top of the old outlet. It doesnt replace it, so shorter plugs dont actually go all the way through. Some plugs fall out. Others are a little unstable and will loose their connection when bumped.

> 24 hourDue to the thickness caused by having the plate that slides over the plugs, when you plug in a cord it is not really 100% inserted into the socket anymore. Yes, it is pushed in completely and there is no gap. But these covers act like a small pacer. So cords are not fully retained and come out easier. This is mostly a problem for vacuuming. The cord will sometimes come unplugged.
