> 24 hourI tried to use it on the flush port on the front of my motor. This seems to be designed for motors that need a tell tale (pisser) so there is a hole in the adapter itself that discharges a stream of water into the motor well of my boat. I had to epoxy a small screw into the hole and it works fine now.

> 24 hourIn case youre wondering, yes, it does have the tell-tale stream. I am happy with this device.

> 24 hourThis product was so bad it was like someone was playing a practical joke on me. I installed this on a brand new Suzuki DF90 A. 1: The slide valve has a small hole that was above where the o ring could seal so it just sprayed water through the hole when the engine was running. 2: The quick connect check valve was installed backwards preventing water from the hose to enter the engine. When I reversed the check valve it allowed water through but when connected to the stem on the slide valve, the stem was too long and prevented incoming water to open the check valve in the quick connect. Solution: I had to JB weld the small hole on the slide valve and buy a Gardena quick connect that fit the slide valve properly. The picture on the ad actually shows a orange Gardena fitting but that is not what you get. I contacted the seller and they never got back to me. Stay far away unless you have a serious sense of humor.

> 24 hourWorks well on engines with same size indicator hole on flush garden hose port. These four actions are critical for your engines cooling system and must be right: (1) If engine has no indicator hole, insert a thru-screw slathered with epoxy to seal the items hole. (2) Make sure holes are same diameter, if engines is larger, expand items hole to get correct back-pressure. (3) If engines hole is smaller, send item back and avoid insufficient back-pressure. (4) If you cant get a watertight seal, send item back and avoid insufficient back-pressure. Always use teflon tape for watertight thread seal as with most water nylon fittings. Replace o-ring and/or apply water grease to o-ring as a last resort if the above checklist is followed but it still leaks.

> 24 hourMakes flush out easier. Cheaply made. Sticks out from motor a awful long way,but should be ok as long as it isnt hit and broke off.
