63 Brother Colors Polyester Embroidery Machine Thread Kit 500M (550Y) Each Spool for Brother Babylock Janome Singer Pfaff Husqvarna Bernina Embroidery and Sewing Machines

I just got my first sewing/embroidery Bernina and ordered the brothread thread 63 color kit. They arrived so quick in a cute two level box. I loved the color chart they included in the box. The assortment and shades of color where perfect for me to start to learn embroidery on my machine. I started off with a one color design and have made a 9 color design. The thread is easy to open and love my finished products. Now I need to get something to organize the thread and order more colors. I would highly recommend getting the assortment for the price and great way to play with a bunch of colors.

tldr preface: great for free standing lace in a rainbow selection, color and sheen dont come close to rayon. Ill be honest in that I didnt even realize that it was poly - though it says it in the description. Ive never used poly embroidery thread before and just assumed it was rayon like most other embroidery threads. Items were very well packaged- with a color card; not just an assortment of colors and no idea what they are like most bargain thread purchases one can come across. The price point is excellent considering the alternative of $100-$200 for this wide of a range of spools from the premium brands. Being 100% poly it washed perfectly and spools stay color even, no fraying or fuzz at all. The colors and the sheen are not as dazzling as rayon, they dont fluff out and fill in gaps like rayon - so if youre doing thick designs they will show up and wash minutely gaped. The tensile strength is excellent, but the spools are super cheesy, the whole top is a sticker and the bottom is a HUGE hole - the included bonus thread nets that fit perfectly are necessary to make up for the weak spool spots in the top and bottom spool holes; though it was a nice touch for them to add them to the box. 40w thread was excellent for all the fsl stuff and borders I tried, but I didnt like it as much as rayon for home and clothing decor in thick designs like applique, medallions, or corner pieces - the color just isnt there and it doesnt fluff up right. Yet it washes far better, loses no color, and doesnt shread. jm2c

Ordered and have utilized the first box well. I was skeptical initially and thought i would fight breaking threads however i have been pleasantly surprised with the durability and lack of thread breaks. I have ordered a second box now as i have exhausted some of the colors. I love they are compatible with Brother thread colors/machines. Will order again. The only con is i wish it had more sheen to the product but finished item have looked great and no complaints from customers.

I’n just starting out with embroidery and it’s difficult finding the perfect thread. I’m so happy my purchase was worth it!

This is my second purchase from new brothread. Good price, beautiful threads and my embroidery machine has had no issues with thread breakage or kinking. Great way to get lots of colors for a reasonable price. I’m really enjoying this thread

I’m a first time customer and was a bit reluctant to purchase embroidery thread without knowing whether it was good quality. Turns out this is great thread. I stitched an appliqué on a jean jacket for my granddaughter. The pattern called for 14 color changes. I experienced ZERO thread breakage with a Janome Skyline S9. The colors were perfect for my project - with the exception of needing a bright copper color so I had to run to the fabric store for just one spool. I have no doubt I will be a return customer. The kit has all great colors. My only suggestion is that it would really be nice if enough thread nets were included to cover all spools of thread in the kit. This has been one of my best Amazon purchases!

I received my New Brothread threads and they are beautiful. When using a thread conversion for embroidery designs, I am finding more matches to the New Brothread threads. Beyond excited that I ordered the New Brothread threads. I have so happy with my purchase of the Brothread threads. I have used the thread so much in such a short period of time that I am about to run out of a few colors. I highly recommend purchasing this thread.

The colors are brilliant. It is a fine and beautiful thread. Accepts embroidery and design stitches well. I am evaluating buying another set with other colors to complement this one.
