Im not a gamer at all, but I do use my computer for music editing and production. I also use Linux, and compile source code from time to time. This ram is fast enough to do the job. My computer is much more responsive and Im able to do many more things at once, without having to swap to disk, and bogging my system down. Im happy with this purchase.
