So effective and easy to use it feels like it was sent here from the future. I wish I bought this tool when it first came out, I could have saved a lot of effort using various old style rasps. It is so far superior to any other wood rasp I have used that I see no reason not to send all my old ones to the thrift store. Rough side removes lots of wood without much surface damage while the smooth side gives you a finish that need just normal sanding. If you EVER need a wood rasp, buy this now, you will not regret it.

Impressive rasp. Using it to work Osage Orange (hedge) and it works very well. Already recomended it to a few friends. Only draw back is it has a tendency to clog with the rough side pretty fast, but a couple of knocks on the boot or the table clears it.

Theres a reason every luthier on YouTube has one. Simple to use, easy to use, and very quick in removing material.

This is an amazing tool thats well constructed and extremely versatile.

This rasp does exactly what I purchased it to do. It has a rough side and a smooth side. The rough side quickly removes wood while the smooth side smooths the surface, making it ready to sand. I like it! It will allow me to clean up through mortises and shape the outside corners/surfaces of wood.
