ABN Hollow Punch Kit Leather Punches Tools Hole Punch Set Gasket Punch Set Gasket Cutter 3/16 to 1-3/8in (5-35mm)

Trying to cut leather (soft suede .040” thick) against a soft wood board. It was dull after about 5 cuts. Very poor performance.

Great set of punches. They are sharp and ready to use. Seem very durable but I have only used one once so hopefully they hold up to future needs.

The product is very good. Has a good selection of sizes fo a gasket punch kit. Good value for the money. Worked great for my needs

Tried cutting small fleece circles. They never tell you what kind of surface to use. Started with wood, but just pressed into the wood and dented the fabric. Plastic on the wood finally did cut fabric after it cut through the plastic, but now have to buy as much plastic as fabric. Tried soft or thin metals, but same as wood and plastic. Tried a heavy duty cutting mat, thicker than quilter style mats, and again the fabric would not cut unless you hit really hard; then it cuts through the mat and uneven cuts on fabric. Tried metal similar to door hinge, not too hard, not too soft. Notta. After a few hits, the punch rolls inwards. Now a nice little biscuit cutter with non-threatening edges, other than the dough would catch up in the rolled up edge of the punch. Why cant someone make a punch that cuts fabric! You can cut metal and leather, but not fabric. I just dont get it!

When working on a 96 yr old machine no gaskets can be bought... all must be made. This punch set worked great for what I needed.
