Easy to install and very secure!. I have 2 very old doors that needed some additional help. I installed 2 on each door (1ft above & 1ft below the knob) and replaced the screws with 3inch wood screws for extra support. Each door is completely reinforced and will hold firm until we build our new house. I highly recommend.

Let me start off by saying that I have never drilled anything into a wall before despite me having a whole electric drill set. But after the Idaho case and many other crazy cases I literally could not sleep at night even though I exercise my second amendment rights… I couldn’t help but think that anyone could just open up our sliding door/ etc without a sound. I installed these on my bedroom doors, along with my “tools” at arms reach, pepper spray, and other fun “toys”. Now, my family can sleep in piece knowing there’s an extra security measure that would take a person an arm and a leg to surpass. :)

I live in st joe mo and crap is getting bad. We’ve been broke into twice. This makes me feel a whole lot better. The door feels really secure.

To my surprise, these little things work. The door feels very secure. My only worry is that they don’t seem high quality so may need replacement after a while due to maneuvering back and forth.

Very pleased with this purchase and would recommend. Took me a minute to figure out the right direction/side to place and how to unlock it. Once I did though, easy to install. Glad they provide long & short screws, as only short ones worked in my frame. Havent installed the 2nd lock yet, as the door frame needs more space. Ill have to chip away some frame first before installing. Great extra protection though. Feel safer with it.

No chiseling needed, as my door had a decent enough space for the plate to fit in. Only had to readjust once, to make sure it was far enough towards the inside, so I could close the latch fully. But a few long screws later and Ive got such a tough security lock on my door now, that I know no one can come in, unless I want them to. I dont care if youre in a hotel room, private home, or wherever... this beats any door chain or lever contraption you can come up with. Easy to release, sleek enough to be out of the way when not in use, and enough colors that it will blend in with any knob/hinge combo you have going on.
