Learn from our mistake and dont waste your money! We purchased this product in mid-December. Not even two months later, it completely died -- wouldnt boot up, wouldnt charge. We sent it back to Acer for repair, since it was under warranty. They had to replace the motherboard. They sent it back, and it worked...for four hours. Then died again. Acer now wants us to send it back again for another repair and refuse to issue another device or a credit. Well see what Amazon might be willing to do, but in the meantime -- please do yourself a favor and dont buy an Acer.

This Chromebook is OK. I gave Chromebooks a chance a couple months ago and I love the other one I have. This one really doesnt compare though. The specs are basic and the memory is non-existent. I knew this and got the computer for my son for school. It works well for that. It would also be good for someone who just wants to browse and check email. Dont go with this if you want to download photos or anything. You would need a cloud service which Google has. The screen is nice and movies look good. The ability to make this a tablet is the best part of it. My son wanted something portable. I like being able to touch the screen while in laptop mode. It makes scrolling pages much easier.

This Chromebook has ALMOST everything I could have wanted in a Chromebook. Processor and ram pairing is perfect, the thing is SNAPPY and operates flawlessly. Design is nice for the price point. I like having the ability to use it in tablet mode AND laptop mode.

So far I have had no complaints. It was very easy to set up. The battery life is more than adequate. The biggest thing for me was only adjusting to the operating system. Until now, I have only used windows laptops for the last twenty plus years. Before that I had an Apple. Its been easy so far, though I still have difficulties with right-clicking with the trac-pad. I have easily avoided this by using a wireless mouse.

The chromebook described is not what was delivered. This was not a 2-1 laptop, foldable into a tablet form, but instead a regular laptop style.

I have always bought acer in the past and never had a problem. This model unfortunately is the worst! Ive only had it for 2 months and it continues to have glitches! After only owning the product for a month the screen blacked out! I had a presentation at work that day and it wouldnt do anything! The power button wasnt working and it stayed black for a few hours! Finally...the power button worked and I had a normal screen again! So frustrating! Ruined my presentation! From time to time the screen and the keys just freeze up! I have to turn off the power and turn it back on a few times. I contacted Acer and they want me to send my computer to them but doesnt offer a replacement while Im they are working on it. I need my computer on a daily basis for my work! I would never buy this model again!! Its cheap for a reason!!

Delivered promptly the chromebook booted up no problem and seems to be exactly what I wanted to watch videos and net surf while traveling. Price seemed very fair.

i really enjoy the chrome book sin 311, i Loved it so much I got one for both my daughters, I would recommend everyone getting the spin 311!

I like that fact that it is light and that it’s easy to use.

I love the touch screen and the fact it folds backwards.
