It’s a good budget monitor for the price I got it for 120 + tax but I do notice a lot of ghosting even with overdrive on

Pros - awesome performance, awesome size, awesome brightness (a little TOO awesome), awesome features Cons - colors are a bit weird to look at (at first) had to adjust settings for a few days to get used to it does NOT come with an HDMI or displayport cable (just the power supply one) a bit slow to display things when changing settings[ i.e. alt-tabbing] (could just be a me problem) conclusion - still worth it, gimme those sweet sweet frames, baby!

I have been using it for 2 weeks and one pixel got stuck near the middle of the screen. That pixel is always purple, never changes its color and its very annoying. I hope the other pixels dont get stuck in the nearby future...

I recieved the monitor started setting it up and came to found out it wasn’t working I called aced customer support and was informed pretty much after waiting for label shipping repair and shipping back it would probably be like 2-3 weeks before I got my monitor back customer service was great but I shouldn’t have to wait for 2-3 weeks because something isn’t working before I hook it up

Looks really nice. Black exterior looks good with the red stand. The screen itself is a good size had no issues. Bought a second one, since it works as intended.

I wrote 2 reviews already that got eaten by the Vapor Monster and didnt post, so Ill keep this shorter. I love this monitor and am frankly quite stunned. I suffer from severe occipital migraines and lots of eye issues which has forced me to barely be online anymore. I have gone through 4 monitors in the last 7 years, and even bought a $ special monitor recommended by the Epilepsy foundation which has a built in Blue Screen filter. AND I use an app that is a blue screen filter. AND I wear yellow industrial sunglasses. Result? I have no idea what colors Im looking at, I look silly, and all I did was fiddle with controls. None of this helped. I was about to give up when I thought well, Ill buy a new monitor, and see how it goes. This monitor was a great price and I have been very happy with past Acer products so I bought it. I sat with my mouth open for about 40 minutes while hooking this monitor up. It is beautiful. Crisp, clear and best of all, the controls to change brightness/contrast/and everything else are SO easy and intuitive. Best yet, this monitor has a FAST refresh rate (I have mine on a refresh rate of 120) which is vital to easing eyestrain and headaches. (Most monitors stick you at 60 which is *the* exact refresh rate that induces epileptic episodes and other brain/neurological issues - even feeling icky or having your heart speed up as you watch movies or play games.) There are tons of gaming options, color options, calibrating. Im sure other reviewers have gone into all this, so I wont. I do a lot of graphic work on photos and love looking at other peoples artwork and photos - this monitor has me seeing details of things I swear werent even there. I have been able to do much more and I can read text so much better. I alos like that I can change the resolution of the screen since moving my eyes a lot causes issues so I dont need this big a screen but in the past when Id try to change it the pages wouldnt show well. The text would get smashed, shrink down to ant-size or I just couldnt do it. I havent had any problem even putting it on 800x600 though I do have it bigger. I also like that the black frame around the screen is a bit wider than most so is perfect for Post-It notes, reminders and Hello Kitty stickers (no computer is compete without some.) This is just terrific, I highly recommend.

I purchased this 144 Hz monitor in July 2019 but didnt really start using it until March 2020 when so many of us began working from home due to COVID-19. Over the past 5-6 months, this monitor has seen very heavy use averaging 12-16 hrs per day, with absolutely no problems. Color and contrast are great, with no flickering or any other issues. Netflix looks good. Its worth noting that the output is much sharper when connected to the Display Port at 144Hz (143 Hz as shown in my Dell Latitude 7300s display settings). This drops down to 60 Hz when I switch to my 2nd laptop hooked up to HDMI. So to really maximize display quality, you should really need to connect using a DP cable. However, Ive used it extensively via HDMI at 60Hz, and it still looks really good. Overall, Im very happy with this purchase. Really great performance for the price that will last me for many years. Am also considering purchasing a 2nd so I can have a dual monitor setup.

I loved how it has a simple build process. It has pretty good picture and response time. The monitor advertisement all over the internet isn’t sure if it’s 50-70 hz or 144 hz. Truth is on PC and overclocked it will be 144hz on a console 50-70 hz. It’s still a good monitor for the price.

probably could never get a better monitor for the price, I game on my 4K Sony Bravia, which goes way higher in resolution, but only at 60 HZ with gtx 1070 in sli, and I only use the same resolution as the Acer, but 4Kx2. I use the Acer as a second monitor for our website work. Work or play, dont think you could do better. Had 2 Acers in the past, one went over 8 yrs, the other my wife is still using, 12 yrs ? Maybe more, forget. You cant go wrong with Acer.

Not entirely sure what all the people with 4/5 stars are looking at but I bought this monitor and it is literally unusable. It says 165hz but at 165hz the ghosting is so bad that watching/playing anything I might as well be blind. Lowering to 60hz helps sure but 1. I bought this for high refresh rate and 2. it’s still bad ghosting. I received a replacement with the exact same issue. And yes I tried just about every single thing I could do and nothings fixes it. Now it’s entirely possible that I received 2 defective monitors but that seems unlikely as well if that’s the case then Acers QC is not worth spending money on. Highly recommend staying away. Find another cheap monitor but with a IPS Panel instead.
