Where to start, the Acer Helios 300 is probably one of the best laptops that you will ever find for the price. It arguably plays games at the level of a desktop PC. I have built desktops for quite some time and considering I traveling i had sold my current desktop and wanted to make a quick purchase for a laptop that could game , Modern Warfare, Overwatch, pub G and so on.

Ive had this laptop about 5 months now and i use it about 7-8 hrs only once a week on my day off.. So it only has a little over 100 hrs of gameplay and now it feezes just about every time i play my game... Not cool for a 1300$ laptop and im not tech savy so i dont know how to fix.. I honeslty cant recommend it for any heavy or moderate gamer

this was everything needed for both gaming and for school/work, performance is great stands for everything it represents had for about a month so far and still next best thing to a great laptop best purchase highly unlikely that you would be disappointed

Pretty decent. Only REALLY bad thing about this is the speakers. It has horrible audio, like even on full blast you can hardly hear a peep. But that is ok

This is everything you could want and more. No lag time, never have to worry about battery life, sound quality, it is so fast!

Its a very good Gaming Laptop, When I received it was working great for playing games and watching videos for the most part. But not to long after that the speakers or audio from this device decided to give up and make popping or crackling sounds from the speakers cause me not to hear or enjoy anything. Im not saying its bad or I just became one of the unlucky people who got this problem, but I tried everything to fix it with what I knew what to do and Im very interested in the technological field and grew up with computer devices. But overall its a good laptop to game with and do some other things on the side.

It lasted a little over 2 years and began to malfunction. I looked online and this seems to be pretty common, a hardware failure. Random crashes and a black screen with no bootable device on it. Of course its 3 months past warranty...

The computer works amazing for everything I use it for - running my works virtual desktop, streaming on discord, playing in roll20, running casual games like stardew valley and the sims 4. However, the fans are ridiculously loud, even when the computer is idling. I read in reviews that this unit has loud fans, and I thought, how loud could they really be? They are ASTOUNDINGLY loud, it will make you reevaluate your previously held notions of loudness. Any time its on, even if youre just looking at it from across the room and not asking anything of it, It sounds like an ancient desktop tower that has been baking in the sun for hours and is on its last breath from a lifetime of mining bitcoins.

youre going to have to do some messing around with the wifi drivers. be careful, you can screw yourself over if you dont do it right. so I recommend doing a lot of research and making sure you know how it works or going to a professional to help.
