First of all, it demands a lot of personal details before allowing you to use a program you have already bought. Theyre basically holding you to random, not allowing you to use the program youve paid for, unless you give them too much personal data.

Bought it to record music, but it won’t read my Scarlet 6i6 or even software instruments. Completely useless to me.

Worst software company ever. WARNING IF YOU BUY THIS YOU WILL HAVE TO RE REGISTER SOFTWARE MONTHLY. NO EASY TASK. YOU CAN T BYPASS OR NOT DO THIS. DONT let software companies do this to us. Lets not reward draconian software vendors with success. This is a German company who thinks its ok to do business this way. NEVER AGAIN! I was also misled to believe this was SONYS ACID SW NOT THE CRAP COMPANY IT IS. OH IT STILL IS NOT INSTALLED.

Having used it years ago as well, I like that it is very user friendly, and the tutorials are very, if not more detailed in my personal experience, especially feeling like a beginner all over again. This is a big help to get me back to where I was, and to take me further the more I learn while using it.

I had Acid 8 software for years, just to be able to cut and paste audio clips and do basic EQ/reverb on them. It did the job, but to a very basic standard.
